A story of The Quest

It is the first book of the McGonegal Chronicles. It is the adventure of two siblings, Cillian and Patrick McGonegal, and their friends, as they unravel a secret of a relic that holds the way to time itself.

Terence McSweeney is a retired middle school teacher of English and Social Studies with an MS in Elementary Education from Eastern Connecticut State University and a BA in Political Science from Boston College. The Quest is his third script. His first book, Poems, and Thoughts, is a work of unique oil canvases, verse, and perceptions. Green Underwear, his second book, by contrast, is a biography about experiencing childhood in the fifties and sixties during the Cold war period. He is right now chipping away at the sequel to the Quest, The Twelve Halls, and a children’s book, Little One’s Big Day.

Why Read It?

A STORY OF THE QUEST

The Quest revolves around an ESTEEMED ARCHAEOLOGIST CILLIAN McGONEGAL that has disappeared. He was onto a revelation that would stir up what we think about old Egyptian mythology, its birth, time, and our place in the world. Then he was gone astray. Following two years, the McGonegal family had surrendered, truly tracking down their popular member. Then one day, a letter showed up for the other McGonegal sibling, Patrick. It was surprising. Cillian was alive, and what’s more, he had settled the secret of the Serpent Mound. There is a threat in this revelation notwithstanding, for not all who need answers have the noblest reasons as Cillian and his brother will soon discover.

The idea of existence is relative. Everything starts with a stone relic given to Cillian by a mysterious, shadowed figure who has the uncanny capacity to show up as he wishes. All through their excursion, Cillian, Patrick, and their kindred travelers will be sought after by other people who likewise need to have the stone. The Quest is the first book of the series that dives the readers into early history and fantasy introduced through a cutting edge story of adventure, the enchanted, honor, and dedication. Follow the McGonegal siblings as they explore the dangers of force and voracity in their journey to discover the reality.
